Breastfeeding Classes & Groups

Mothers naturally produce breast milk, but the art of latching the baby onto the breast is learned.  Classes are typically taken prenatally, and taught by a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC).  We provide practical, evidence based breastfeeding information to get breastfeeding off to a great start.  But because breastfeeding is a learned behavior, we encourage parents to attend groups starting in pregnancy as well.  Any of the classes below may be done privately if needed.

We also offer a class for Birth Workers and those working with pregnant and/or postpartum parents.

Biological Breastfeeding Class
Biological Breastfeeding is an evidenced-based class, that gives parents the most current information and techniques available.  We use innate feeding behaviors and biological reflexes to make breastfeeding as easy as possible right from the start.  It sounds like a lot, but Biological Breastfeeding means less to know and remember!
